In this nurturing, small-group setting, your young toddler will experience age-appropriate adventures that blend structured guidance with sensory discovery. Each session includes:
First Nature Sensory Experiences: Little ones will touch, explore, and interact with safe natural materials that stimulate their developing senses and encourage cognitive connections
Early Movement Adventures: Young toddlers will practice walking, climbing low obstacles, and navigating simple natural terrain, building confidence in their new mobility skills
Beginning Communication & Social Awareness: Our guided activities introduce simple vocabulary, encourage observation of peers, and foster early social interactions in a supportive environment
Independent Nature Discovery: Children will explore the natural environment with caregiver supervision, developing fine motor skills and early problem-solving abilities
As an experienced pediatric occupational therapist, I'll facilitate each session with attention to the unique developmental needs of young toddlers. All activities respect each child's comfort level while gently encouraging new explorations.
Parents/caregivers actively participate throughout each session, learning effective ways to support your child's development through nature-based play. You'll receive simple weekly handouts with ideas to continue gentle nature exploration at home.
