WILD ROOTS SUMMER SESSION (12 MONTHS-3 YEARS OLD)

$130.00

Nurture your little one's budding curiosity and emerging skills through gentle nature exploration. Our Wild Roots program is specially designed for active 12 month-old to 3 year-olds, using the natural world to support their early developmental milestones. Sensory experiences are built into each session. Build relationships with other parents with toddlers that are a similar age to help build community for you and your family.

A few things to know before you come! Our sessions include short walks through the woods, so if your little one isn't walking yet, you're welcome to carry them along. We tailor our materials and activities to the ages signed up, though some things may get a little messy or tricky for the youngest explorers — and occasionally a bit simple for the older ones. Rest assured, there's always something meaningful for every child!

Summer group will run for 10 weeks.

June 25th 2026 through August 28th 2026:

Thursday’s at 10:30AM

Location:

In this nurturing, small-group setting, your young toddler will experience age-appropriate adventures that blend structured guidance with sensory discovery. Each session includes:

  • First Nature Sensory Experiences: Little ones will touch, explore, and interact with safe natural materials that stimulate their developing senses and encourage cognitive connections

  • Early Movement Adventures: Young toddlers will practice walking, climbing low obstacles, and navigating simple natural terrain, building confidence in their new mobility skills

  • Beginning Communication & Social Awareness: Our guided activities introduce simple vocabulary, encourage observation of peers, and foster early social interactions in a supportive environment

  • Independent Nature Discovery: Children will explore the natural environment with caregiver supervision, developing fine motor skills and early problem-solving abilities

As an experienced pediatric occupational therapist, I plan each session with attention to the unique developmental needs of young toddlers. All activities respect each child's comfort level while gently encouraging new explorations.

Parents/caregivers actively participate throughout each session, learning effective ways to support your child's development through nature-based play.

Join us for 10 weeks of discovery, movement, and joyful learning through nature!
